Where irregularities are discovered during the screening process then further tests can be quickly carried out and speedy referrals to leading consultants are available, if necessary.
All parts of the medical, including side-room tests, are conducted by our doctor. This allows the patient more time to develop a better understanding with the doctors.
Following the medical, patients receive a report containing their results together with explanations and health advice reiterating that provided during the medical. Where necessary, follow-up investigations and speedy referrals to leading consultants can be arranged.

Premier Medical
The Premier Screen is the most extensive medical available and lasts for two hours, with a ten minute booking in time. The extended period with the doctor allows the patient to raise concerns and discuss them in a relaxed and informal environment.
The medical includes an exercise ECG in which a patient’s heart is monitored during exercise to screen for any cardiac irregularities. This medical is usually recommended to employees over the age of 40, to senior staff members and those in mission critical positions.
Executive Medical
This type of medical is usually recommended for employees over the age of 40 and for senior staff members. It is an extensive and detailed medical examination, which is carried out entirely by the doctor. The consultation and testing time is usually 1 hour 15 minutes. The Executive medical is similar to the Premier but includes a resting rather than an exercise ECG. Where necessary, follow-up investigations can be undertaken or referrals to leading consultant specialists can be arranged.
Well Man Screen
The Well Man Screen is designed especially to detect disorders that are most likely to affect men during their adult lives. It lasts 45 minutes plus a 10 minute booking in period. All the tests are carried out by the doctor and there is time for the patient to raise and discuss any concerns with the doctor.
Well Woman Screen
The Well Woman Screen is designed to detect disorders that are most likely to affect women during their early adult lives. It lasts 30 minutes and includes a smear and breast examination and instruction. A detailed gynaecological history is taken and the full 30 minutes is spent with the doctor thus allowing time for the patient to raise and discuss any concerns with the doctor.
Well Woman Plus
The Well Woman Plus is designed to provide a thorough and detailed medical to detect the medical disorders that most affect women in their adult lives. It is more extensive than the Well Woman including extra tests such as a blood test, ECG, lung function and a full medical history. It lasts for 45 minutes and provides a good alternative for patients who want a more thorough medical than the Well Woman but not as extensive as the Executive or Premier Screens.
Pre Employment Medicals
These are medical examinations in which the doctor acts as an agent of the prospective employer. The examination will be carried out by a doctor who has not previously been a carer for the patient. A report will be submitted to the company in an agreed format. Where problems are found the company will be advised (following discussion with the patient) and permission sought for any follow-up investigations.
Lifestyle and Cardio Vascular Risk Assessment
This is a short medical (lasting 15 minutes) that seeks to determine your cardio-vascular risk from a series of short tests and medical/family history.
