Pre-Employment Screening
- Pre-Employment Questionnaires
- These represent a cost-effective alternative to medical examinations and are usually suited to junior staff and provincial recruitment.
- The medical questionnaires can be despatched with application forms by Human Resources departments
- All completed questionnaires are reviewed by our doctors and can be customised to meet individual posts and requirements.
- Further reports can be obtained from GP’s or consultants if necessary
Pre-Employment Medicals
- These may be based upon the replies within the questionnaire or as a routine part of the selection procedure
- Medicals can be of 30 minutes (Ordinary Pre-Employment Medical) or 75 minutes (Full Pre-Employment Medical) duration and can be customised to meet the needs of your particular company.
Other Medicals
- Expatriate Staff Medicals
- We carry out Secondment Medicals which are specifically designed for expatriate staff
- Vaccinations and anti-malarial treatments can be undertaken at the same time
- Nightworker Medicals
- Under the Working Time Directive, all nightworkers must be offered the opportunity to have an annual medical assessment.
- Nightworker Medicals consist of a questionnaire and a 75minute medical.
Managing Sickness Absence, Ill Health and rehabilitation
- Staff absence due to sickness or Ill Health can have a major impact on the efficiency and profits of a company. Whether absences are frequent and short-lived or the ill-health is more long-term we have extensive experience in the management of sickness absence programmes and overseeing the rehabilitation process.
- A doctor will liase with Human Resources departments to discuss a suitable management process. This may involve a consultation with the doctor, a full health screen or gathering records from the employee’s NHS Practitioner or Consultant.
- We can act as an independent medical advisor for permanent ill health claims. We can also arbitrate if the outcome appears unsatisfactory to either the employer or the employee.
In-house Occupational Health Service
As well as providing an Occupational Health Service from our London Wall premises we are also able to provide an in-house Occupational Health Service for companies. Our experience shows that there are many benefits to companies that provide an in-house service.

We are able to offer an in-house service on any day of the week and we can provide a male or female doctor for each session.
